We absolutely love this home away from home. If you don't go then you are missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime.
They just tell you it's a certain amount to filet/gill and gut/ or catch and release. They over charge you on time. We showed up and got started at 2:45 pm and didn't catch nothing for 40 minutes. Made it in with 15 minutes to spare on the hour. 2 people fished and they charged us for 3 people. I explained I was just watching and the older lady with the dog said it doesn't matter. Shortly after I just paid and another group came in and caught 8 and they charge by the pound and made them pay almost $400 for the fish and like 7 people to fish but they only had 2 poles in their hands and I'm pretty sure the 4 kids that still were in the stroller that couldn't walk didn't fish, but they charged them for that. They don't keep to what they say price per pound or hold true to the time that they start you on and finish you on. We won't go back. Never have been disappointed with a fish farm as much as this one!!
The people make this place feel like home. If you go to catch and keep, it takes about ten seconds to hook a trout. Cast long for a larger catch. Catch and release is offered using only their jig bait, but still should be a blast!
We had a blast. Real short fishing trip to get some trout to smoke. They have Rainbow and Golden Rainbow Trout here. Very nice place with pretty views and a pavilion. Good price and guaranteed to catch a fish. The staff was really nice. Will visit again.
Took my 8 year old son and absolutely had a blast. Melissa and her husband are incredibly kind. They came out and showed us some things and treated us like we were VIP. We will most certainly be back and will tell everyone I know about how wonderful they were. Thank you for amazing memories!!!
